Gender injustice in the novel Cantik Itu Luka by Eka Kurniawan: a review of feminist literary criticism and its implications for literature learning in high school aims to describe (1) how the bulding elemnts in the novel Cantik Itu Luka by Eka Kurniawan, (2) what froms of gender ijustice are contained in the novel Cantik Itu Luka by Eka Kurniawan, and (3) what are the implications of this research of literature learning in high school. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data and data sources presented are in the forms of words, expressions and sentences towards women in the novel Cantik Itu Luka. The data analysis technique uses three steps, namely (1) identifying related data in the form of froms of gender injustice experomced by women based on the text of the novel, (2) classifying data which includes forms of gender injustice experienced by women using the theory of gender injustice according to Fakih (2013), namely marginalization of women, subordination, stereotypes, violence against women, and two data on women’s workload. The results of this research have an impact on literature teaching in Indonesian language learning in class XII high school with KD 3.9 analyzing the content of the novel (intrinsic elements).
