HUBUNGAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI DENGAN PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK PESERTA DIDIK KELAS X DI SMA NEGERI 1 INDRALAYA UTARA
This research was motivated by a phenomenon that researchers found in the field regarding students who were not punctual in submitting homework (PR), because students were not sure about the answers they were working on or lacked confidence in carrying out the assignments given. Lack of self-confidence in their abilities can give rise to students' behavior of procrastinating completing assignments, so that students are late in submitting assignments and cannot complete assignments according to the predetermined time limit. This research aims to find the relationship between self-confidence and academic procrastination in class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara. The sample used in this research was 60 people taken from a population of 152 people. The research method used in this research is a quantitative method with a correlational research type. The data collection method used is the correlation research method. The data analysis technique used is the Pearson Product Moment formula with the help of the Microsoft Excel 2010 application and SPSS versio . Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it shows that the calculated r value (r) is 0.232 and r table with a significance level of 5% (r = 0.266), thus the calculated r value ≤ r table so that H0 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between self-confidence and academic procrastination in class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara.
