UJI DAYA HAMBAT EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN KENCANA UNGU (RUELLIA TUBEROSA L.) TERHADAP BAKTERI PSEUDOMONAS AERUGINOSA DAN SUMBANGANNYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SMA
Research has been carried out regarding the inhibitory power test of ethanol extract of purple golden leaves (Ruellia tuberosa L.) against Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria. This research aims to obtain information regarding the effect of ethanol extract of purple golden leaves on P. aeruginosa bacteria and the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of ethanol extract of purple golden leaves on P. aeruginosa bacteria. The experimental method used was a completely randomized Design (CRD), and the data results were analyzed using the One Way ANOVA test. The antibacterial test method uses the disc diffusion method (Kirby-Bauer) and the minimum inhibitory concentration test uses the liquid dilution method. The antibacterial activity of ethanol extract from purple golden leaves was tested at concentrations of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, and 10%. The results of the one-way ANOVA analysis showed that the ethanol extract of purple golden leaves (Ruellia tuberosa L.) was proven to affect the P. aeruginosa bacteria. The minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) test for ethanol extract of purple golden leaves against P. aeruginosa bacteria was tested at concentrations of 0%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, and 2%. It was found that the MIC was at a concentration between 0 and 0.5%. The results of this research were contributed in the form of LKPD for the biology subject at SMA Class X phase E on learning outcomes regarding the diversity of living things and their roles. Keywords: Antibacterial, R.tuberosa, P. aeruginosa
