PENGARUH LITERASI KEUANGAN TERHADAP PERILAKU KEUANGAN MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI FKIP UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
This research aims to prove the influence of financial literacy on the financial behavior of Economics Education students at FKIP Sriwijaya University. This research is quantitative research with a correlational approach. The population in this study were 353 students of Economic Education, FKIP, Sriwijaya University. The sampling technique in this research used the Simple Random Sampling technique with a sample size of 188 students. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the instrument using the Product Moment formula and reliability using Cronbach's Alpha. Data analysis techniques in this research include prerequisite testing and hypothesis testing. The research prerequisite tests consist of normality tests, homogeneity tests, and linearity tests. The research hypothesis test consists of the Person Product Moment correlation test, coefficient of determination, and t-test. The research results show that the financial literacy data obtained is in the good category with a percentage of 76% and financial behavior is in the fair category with a percentage of 70%. The higher the level of financial literacy a student has, the more it will influence student financial behavior. Hypothesis testing using the t-test shows that tcount 19.93 ≥ ttable 1.65, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an influence of financial literacy on the financial behavior of Economic Education students at FKIP Sriwijaya University. The influence of financial literacy on financial behavior is a high level of correlation with a percentage of 68.44%. Based on this research, it is hoped that students will increase their understanding of financial knowledge such as investment and savings so that allocating funds can provide benefits in the future.
