Along with the times, the need for knowledge, technology and information is getting higher, so the criteria for human resources are getting higher. Through education we can create quality and resilient human resources, as well as have the skills to innovate and creativity. This study aims to determine how the influence of academic self-concept on career decision making in class X students at SMA Negeri I Banyuasin I. This study is a quantitative correlational research. This research is a correlational quantitative research with a research sample of 168 samples from 290 populations determined by simple random sampling technique. This data analysis technique uses simple linear regression. The results of data analysis show that the level of academic self-concept and career decision making of SMA Negeri I Banyuasin I students is in the moderate category with a percentage of 44% for academic self-concept and 35.7% career decision making.
