Creativity in children is one of the things that needs to be improved early on through activities or media that can allow children to explore according to their imagination. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using loose parts media of natural materials on the creativity of children aged 4-5 years at TK Kartika II-1 Palembang. This study uses a quantitative method with a one shot case study design. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and checklist sheets. This research was conducted on class A children at Kartika II-1 Palembang Kindergarten with a sample size of 12 children. From the results of data analysis in the normality test conducted obtained X^2 hitung = 6,04 ˂ X^2 tabel = 19,7 it is stated that the data is normally distributed. Then the t-test was carried out which obtained the value of t_hitung = 2,60 and t_tabel = 1,80, so it can be concluded that t_hitung ˃ t_tabel then H_0 is rejected, H_a is accepted. This shows that there is an effect of using loose parts natural media on the creativity of children aged 4-5 years at TK Kartika II-1 Palembang. Keywords : Early Childhood, Creativity, Loose Parts
