PERBANDINGAN PERFORMA EVENT-DRIVEN MICROSERVICE DENGAN POLA EVENT NOTIFICATION DAN EVENT-CARRIED STATE TRANSFER PADA SIMULASI SISTEM PEMBELIAN E-TIKET KONSER.
A software system can be said to be functional if it can handle user requests quickly and correctly. As the number of users on the system increases, there is a certain limit to which the system can handle the processed requests. Microservice is an architecture designed to cope with high usage, because it is designed to divide the user request process into smaller focuses. Event-driven is one of the communication methods of microservices, which performs the communication process asynchronously. There are various patterns in event-driven including event notification and event-carried state transfer. In this research, we compare the performance between the two patterns using the parameters of response time and error occurrence. Performance testing is done by simulating sending requests simultaneously in each pattern. The number of requests per second sent in the trial process varied from 1575, 1750, 1925, and 2100 requests. It was found from the test analysis that the event-carried state transfer pattern is superior in terms of performance compared to the event notification pattern.
