ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN USER EXPERIENCE PADA APLIKASI SPOTIFY DAN APPLE MUSIC MENGGUNAKAN METODE USER EXPERIENCE QUESTIONNAIRE (UEQ)
The way people listen to music with the changing times is changing from conventional to digital. Spotify and Apple Music are among the most popular music streaming apps in Indonesia. Based on data on the percentage of the most frequently used music streaming apps, Spotify has a percentage of 17.52% and Apple Music has 1.63%. Spotify has a rating of 4.4 with 28 million reviews, while Apple Music has a rating of 4.0 with 545 thousand reviews on the Google Play Store. On the App Store, Spotify has a rating of 4.8 with 1.6 million reviews and Apple Music has a rating of 4.8 with 9 thousand reviews. The data shows that the intensity of use and rating of Apple Music is lower than Spotify. This study aims to compare the user experience of Spotify and Apple Music applications by measuring aspects of attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. Data was collected through distributing questionnaires online and 133 answers were obtained that could be processed. The results showed that each aspect of user experience (UX) from both applications had a positive evaluation characterised by an average value of each aspect of more than 0.8. Nevertheless, the comparison results show that Spotify's UX score is higher than Apple Music and there are significant differences between the two applications in the aspects of attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation. However, there is no significant difference in the novelty aspect.
