PENGEMBANGAN ALAT PERMAINAN EDUKATIF MAZE ANGKA UNTUK MENGENALKAN LAMBANG BILANGAN (6-10) PADA ANAK USIA (4-5) TAHUN
The lack of use of media or teaching aids in recognizing number symbols results in less than optimal children's ability to recognize number symbols. This research aims to produce a number maze educational game tool that is practical and valid. The type of research used in this research is development research with the Rowntree development research model which is divided into 3 stages, namely the planning stage, development stage, and evaluation stage which is modified using the Tessmer formative evaluation model which consists of the self evaluation stage, the expert review stage, the one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation stage. At the expert review stage, material experts and media experts are used to determine the validity of the product produced. Meanwhile, the one-to-one evaluation and small group stages were carried out on 9 children aged (4-5) years or group A children who were at Cahaya Nurrohman Lahat Kindergarten. The number maze educational game tool received a validity of 88% from media experts and 100% from material experts, resulting in an average valid percentage score of 94% which was categorized as very valid. The practicality of the media was 90% at the one-to-one evaluation stage and 96% at the small group evaluation stage, resulting in an average percentage of media practicality of 93% which was categorized as very practical. So it can be concluded that the number maze educational game tool has proven to be valid and practical for introducing number symbols (6-10) to children aged (4-5) years.
