Continuous Deployment (CD) is a method of deploying applications to production servers automatically and continuously. This research aims to explore the application of the Continuous Deployment method in deploying server-based applications to a Cloud environment. This research involved testing 26 open-source server-based applications. The test results were then compared with previous research. Findings show performance improvements in 4 of the 5 parameters tested, with improvements of 30.5% in time-cost, 6.13% in RAM usage, 8.95% in CPU usage, and 86% in disk reads.
