FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MINAT MAHASISWA DALAM MENGIKUTI PROGRAM PENDIDIKAN PROFESI GURU (PPG) PRAJABATAN DI LPTK UNTIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
This study aims to determine the factors that influence students' interest in joining the pre-service teacher professional education (PPG) program at Sriwijaya University LPTK. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive research methods. The population in this study were pre-service PPG students in wave 1 of 2023, totaling 305 students. The sample in the study was the BK, MTK, PPKn, PGSD, and Penjaskes study programs totaling 161 students. In this study, the sample used proportional stratified random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires / surveys and documentation. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the factors that influence student interest are seen from the desire factor from within the individual (inner urges) which gets a percentage of 93% very high with sub-indicators, namely exploring competencies and exploring skills in the PPG program. The social motive factor obtained a percentage of 83% in the high category with sub-indicators of encouragement to explore the PPG program, obtain information about the PPG program, and support success in becoming a professional teacher. Emotional factors obtained a percentage of 85% categorized as high with sub-indicators of feelings of pleasure in learning science, interest in the PPG program, and confidence in becoming a professional teacher.
