This research aims to develop number maze media to introduce number symbols (1-5) that have been tested in a valid and practical way. This development uses the Rowntree development model with a modification of the Tessmer Formative evaluation model. Rowntree's development stages consist of three stages, namely the planning stage, development stage, and evaluation stage which consists of self-evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation, and small group evaluation stages. Data analysis and collection techniques use walkthroughs and observations. The results of the expert review show that material validity of 97% is obtained from content validity and construct validity, content validity refers to the suitability of the media to the curriculum and construct validity refers to the appearance of the media according to the characteristics of children aged (4-5) years. Media validity has a percentage of 98% consisting of educational, presentation and aesthetic/beauty aspects. From the results of the validity of the material and media, an average percentage of 97.5% was obtained in the very valid category. The one-to-one evaluation stage involved 3 children with a result of 96% and the small group evaluation stage involved 9 children with a result of 97% and from both obtained an average percentage of 96.5% which was categorized as very practical. However, there are still 2.5% shortcomings related to how difficult it is to understand if you don't read the existing guidebook. This research only reached the small group evaluation stage because it was only to see the validity and practicality of a product. From all the stages carried out, it can be concluded that the product in the form of a number maze to introduce number symbols (1-5) to children aged (4-5) years is stated to be very valid and practical, so it can be applied in learning for children. Keywords : Maze Angka Media, Number Symbols, Early Childhood.
