The aim of the research was to find out how much influence Box to Jump training had on improving Hook Shooting results. in basketball for players in the women's extracurricular at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. The research method used was quasiexperimental with a one group pre test and post test design. The population in this study was 30 people, the sample of this research was carried out on female extracurricular players at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya as many as 30 people. The results of this research are based on the pretest and posttest of the Box to Jump training group with an average of 6.47 and shows a t_count value of 10,179. Meanwhile, from the distribution list, the t_table price is 1.699 with a confidence level of 0.95 (α = 0.05) and the sample size is (N = 30), it turns out that the t_(calculated) price is within the Ha reception area. The results of this research are that Box to Jump training has an influence on Shooting Hook in basketball in the extracurricular sport of SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. The finding in this research is that there is an influence of box to jump training which can improve shooting hook results in female players in the extracurricular of SMA Negeri 1 indralaya. Thus, box to jump training can be applied to improve shooting hook results in basketball players. Keywords : box to jump,shooting hook, basketball
