OPTIMASI HIDRODEOKSIGENASI ASAM LAURAT MENJADI AVTUR NABATI DENGAN KATALIS CoMoS/Al-PiLC
This research utilizes lauric acid and CoMo/Al-PiLC to synthesize bioavtur. This study aims to determine the characteristics of CoMo/Al-PiLC catalysts after modification, determine optimization conditions for the hydrodeoxygenation reaction of lauric acid into vegetable avtur, determine the conversion value and yield at optimum conditions after the verification stage. The methods used in this study are pillarization, impregnation, sulfidation, optimization and verification. Based on the results of characterization of XRD, XRF, TPD-NH3, SAA, SEM-EDX synthesis of CoMo/Al-PiLC catalysts has been successfully carried out an increase in surface area and acidity after modification. The optimization conditions obtained in the hydrodeoxygenation reaction are 30 bar, 350oC and 6 hours. The conversion value obtained after the verification stage is 87.42% and the yield is 84.49% where the value is still within the range predicted by the software design expert and verified.
