This research was conducted with the aim of finding out more about the identification of negative behavior in children aged 5-6 years who play with gadgets in Tanjung Dayang Selatan. The Research method used is qualitative, then the data collection technique used are observation,interviews and dokumentation. The data analysis technique in this research went through 4 stages, namely, data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawung conclusions, then the data validity technique used was technical triangulation. The results of the data analysis obtained show that parents allow children becoming dependent and having negative behavior such as being lazy about doing activities, crying, hitting, getting angry, these are all characteristics of behavior. Negative in early childhood when playing with gadgets. keywords: Negative Behavior, Early Childhood, Gadget Use
