OPTIMALISASI KINERJA APACHE HTTP SERVER DENGAN PENDEKATAN TUNING PARAMETER BERBASIS MULTIVARIATE ANALYSIS
Apache HTTP Server is one of the most widely used web servers today. Despite its advantages in stability and security, the performance of the Apache HTTP Server is often affected by traffic load and the size of files accessed, resulting in slow and unresponsive websites. Therefore, optimizing web server performance is crucial to maintaining service quality. Conventional methods such as increasing server capacity and bandwidth are often ineffective due to high costs and time requirements. A more efficient alternative is server parameter tuning, which involves adjusting server configuration values to enhance performance. In the context of the Apache HTTP Server, parameter tuning can be performed on server modules, cache settings, and connection limits. Multivariate analysis is used to understand the interactions between configuration parameters and their impact on server performance. The study's results indicate that parameter tuning significantly improves server performance, including reductions in CPU and memory usage, as well as increases in throughput and request rate. Tuning the Apache HTTP Server significantly enhances resource efficiency and overall server performance.
