HUBUNGAN MUTU PELAYANAN KESEHATAN TERHADAP MINAT KUNJUNGAN ULANG PASIEN DIABETES DI PUSKESMAS SEI BAUNG PALEMBANG
Background: The increasing cases of diabetes in Indonesia must be addressed through strategies to improve health services. Improving health services requires an assessment of the quality of health services. The quality of health services can be assessed based on the patient's re-visit interest. Assessment of the quality of diabetes services can be seen from the aspects of characteristics, understanding of glucose control, therapy and dimensions of service quality consisting of responsiveness, tangibles, reliability, assurance, empathy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the quality of health services and the interest in re-visiting diabetes patients at the Puskesmas Sei Baung Palembang. Methods: This type of research is observational analytic with cross sectional design. The sample in this study amounted to 50 people with consecutive sampling technique. Results: There is a significant association between understanding of glucose control (p=0.024), taking diabetes medication (p=0,029), the dimensions of responsiveness (p=0.000), tangibles (p=0.000), reliability (p=0.001), assurance (p=0.000), and empathy (p=0.000) on the interest in re-visiting diabetic patients at Puskesmas Sei Baung. Understanding glucose control and tangibles quality dimension are the most dominant factors on the interest in re-visiting diabetic patients at Puskesmas Sei Baung. Conclusion: There is an association between the quality of health services and the interest in re-visiting diabetic patients at Puskesmas Sei Baung Palembang.
