This research aims to determine the effect of biological fertilizer application on the abundance of soil microbes in sugarcane plantations (Saccharum officinarum L.) on PTPN VII land, Cinta Manis District. This research used an quantitative descriptive method with a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four treatment levels, each treatment repeated three times. The treatments used are: P0 (control/inorganic fertilizer); P1 (4 kg biofertilizer, 2 kg molasses and 600 liters of water); P2 (6 kg biofertilizer, 2 kg molasses and 600 liters of water); P3 (8 kg of biological fertilizer, 2 kg of molasses and 600 liters of water). The research data were analyzed using the One Way ANOVA test, then if there were differences then it was continued with the LSD test with a level of 5%. The results of the research showed that biological fertilizer treatment had a significant effect on the abundance of soil microbes, namely the abundance of bacteria and fungi. The best abundance of bacteria and fungi was produced in treatment P2 with a composition of 6 kg of biological fertilizer, 2 kg of molasses and 600 liters of water, which produced the highest abundance of soil bacteria of 268,27 x 106 cfu/g, while the highest abundance of soil fungi was 57.33 x103 cfu/g. The results of this research were donated in the form of LKPD for class XII high school biology subjects on learning outcomes regarding growth and development in living things. Keywords: Bacteria, Biological Fertilizer, Fungi, Sugarcane Plants, Soil Microbes
