Academic and non-academic study assignments and learning activities will always be tied to student dynamics. Many students have difficulty managing their time between academic and non-academic activities. So many students procrastinate on assignments, which is called academic procrastination. Inadequate time management is one aspect that has the potential to contribute to procrastination. This research aims to determine the relationship between time management and academic procrastination in collecting Guidance and Counseling students for the 2022 Academic Year at Sriwijaya University. This research uses quantitative research with correlational methods. This research involved all Guidance and Counseling students for the 2022 Academic Year at Sriwijaya University, totaling 102 students with a population of 66 Indralaya class students and 36 Palembang class students as research samples by sampling using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis in this research uses Pearson product moment correlation. The findings of this research show that the level of student academic procrastination is in the medium category with a percentage of 33% (34 students) and the level of time management is in the medium category with a percentage of 31% (32 students). Then the correlation coefficient (r) = -0.705 and sig (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, which means there is a significant negative relationship between time management and academic procrastination. This shows that there is a negative relationship between time management and academic procrastination in collecting assignments for Guidance and Counseling students for the 2022 Academic Year at Sriwijaya University. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference for future researchers.
