Introduction: Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is an inflammation of the nose and paranasal sinuses that meets criteria such as nasal congestion, accompanied by discharge, tenderness, as well as a lack of olfactory ability that does not heal within a period of more than 12 weeks, which can increase the risk of morbidity. Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps is a condition that affects patients' quality of life and requires appropriate treatment. This study aims to explore the characteristics of chronic rhinosinusitis patients with nasal polyps at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang. Method: The method used in this study was descriptive observational with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used a total sampling technique to collect medical record data of patients with a diagnosis of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps in January 2021-December 2022 who met the inclusion criteria. Results: The sample in this study that met the inclusion criteria amounted to 48 subjects. Chronic rhinosinusitis patients with nasal polyps were more common in the age group of 48-57 years (20.8%), female (58.3%), most were housewives (26.1%), with the most common clinical symptom being nasal congestion (95.8%). Based on comorbid diseases, chronic rhinosinusitis patients with nasal polyps were most commonly accompanied by allergic rhinitis (35.4%) and the majority of patients did not smoke (92.3%). Conclusion: Chronic rhinosinusitis patients with nasal polyps were more common in the age group of 48-57 years, with female gender, most were housewives, with the most common clinical symptoms being nasal congestion, most were accompanied by allergic rhinitis and the majority of patients did not smoke
