This research that aims to determine the relationship of self-concept with the ability of interpersonal relations of class X students at 14 Senior High School in Palembang. The population in this study were all students of class X who had 215 students. The number of samples used in this study amounted to 76 respondents, with technique simple random sampling. Data collection methods in this study use self-concept scale and scale of interpersonal relationships that are arranged using a Likert scale model. In an effort to prove the above hypothesis, using product moment analysis techniques. The results of this study note that there is a positive relationship between self-concept and the ability of interpersonal relationships of class X students at SMA Negeri 14 Palembang. This is indicated by the coefficient of 0.748. The coefficient of determination shows that 55,9% of interpersonal relationship skills are determined self-concept and 44,1% are determined by other factors.
