This research aims to determine the influence of income and education costs on student welfare in the city of Palembang. The analytical method used is a multiple linear regression analysis model. The data used is primary data obtained from BAZNAS and the data collection techniques used are questionnaires and observation. The results of this study show that the income and education costs variables together have a significant effect on the welfare of students receiving SKSS scholarships in Palembang City in 2023. The coefficient table shows a figure of 0.365, which means that the independent variables (Income and Education Costs) have an influence on the dependent variable (Welfare) which is 37.1 percent, so that 62.9 percent of the dependent variable (welfare) is influenced by other factors or variables not included in this research. The variable income earned by students has a significant effect on the welfare of students in Palembang City, which means that income is effective in managing expenses which are costs for students. The variable total educational costs shows that it has a significant and negative effect on the welfare of students in the city of Palembang. This shows that the high or low amount of Single Tuition Fees has a negative impact on student expenditure, because the amount of Tuition Fees is included in the costs that must be incurred by students in Palembang City.
