KANDUNGAN LOGAM BERAT TIMBAL (PB) DAN TEMBAGA (CU) PADA IKAN GLODOK (PERIOTHALAMUS SP) DI PESISIR PERAIRAN SUNGSANG, SUMATERA SELATAN
Sungsang Coastal Waters, South Sumatra is the estuary of the Musi River which has potential for capture fisheries production. The many daily activities that people tend to carry out around the Sungsang Coast of Banyuasin, South Sumatra have the potential to reduce water quality and increase the concentration of heavy metals Pb and Cu. The purpose of this research is to analyze the concentration of heavy metals Cu and Pb in Glodok Fish and determine the relationship between physical and chemical parameters of sediments with heavy metal concentrations. This research was conducted in August 2023 in the Sungsang Coastal waters of South Sumatra until laboratory analysis was completed until October 2023. The method used was purposive sampling. Heavy metal analysis using AAS type AA-7000. The research results showed that the heavy metal Cu in biota ranged from 0.1775 – 5.865 mg/kg. The heavy metal Pb was not detected in this study. Based on the criteria of the Director General of POM, the concentration of heavy metals Pb and Cu in biota still meets the required quality standards, namely 2 mg/kg for Pb and 20 mg/kg for Cu
