The research aims to find out what values are contained in the betimbang tradition in Meranjat III villange, South Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. There were eleven informants in the study consisting of eight main informants and three supporting informants who were determined using a purposive sampling technique. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used consisted of documentation techniques, interviews and observation. The data validity tests used and confirmability test. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, it is known that the values contained in the betimbang tradition in Meranjat III villange, South Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency are considered good and have a positive impact on the community.
