This study aims to determine the effect of biofertilizer application on the control of shoot borer pests (Scirpophaga excerptalis) on the growth of sugarcane plants which has been carried out from November-April 2023 at PTPN VII Cinta Manis South Sumatra. Using insitu experimental methods by observing the percentage of pest attacks and the level of leaf damage caused by shoot borer pests (Sciripophaga excerptalis) in sugarcane leaves. Data analysis was used to determine the effect of biofertilizer concentration using One Way Anova. The results of research on sugarcane leaves showed a real influence on the percentage of Sciripophaga excerptalis pest attacks with a Fcalculate > Ftable value (a5%), which is 1.615>1.245. The effect of optimal biofertilizer application on the control of shoot borer pests Sciripophaga excerptalis, which is at a concentration of 200%, while the most optimal concentration of biofertilizer on sugarcane leaf damage caused by shoot borer pests is a concentration of 400%. The most optimal application of biofertilizer in the control of shoot borer pests (Sciripophaga excerptalis) is biofertilizer at a concentration of 400%. The results of this research will be donated in the form of LKPD in class X High School Biology subjects in KD. 3.10 is analyzing the components of the ecosystem and the interactions between these components.
