PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SISWA KELAS X PADA MATERI HUKUM PROUST DI SMA SRIJAYA NEGARA PALEMBANG
Science process skills are thinking skills that can be used to solve problems, produce knowledge, and formulate results. Improving science process skills can be done, one of them by applying the discovery learning model. This learning model can increase the activeness of students in finding and investigating knowledge themselves through scientifically designed learning activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the discovery learning model on science process skills on proust’s law material at Srijaya Negara High School Palembang. This research is an experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The number of research samples was 59 students consisting of 28 students of class X.1 as a control class and 31 students of grade X.2 as an experimental class. The instruments used are KPS (pretest-posttest) tests, practical tests, and observation sheets. The results of the hypothesis test using the independent sample t-test obtained a significance value (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.031
