Conversion of Carbon Dioxide into Methanol with Cu2O/C and Cu2O-ZnO/C Catalysts with Varying Electrical Voltage and Reaction Time is carried out using MEA consisting of an proton exchange membrane and electrodes. The electrodes were characterized using the Scanning Electron Microscope - Energy Dispersive X-Ray (SEM-EDX) method to show the morphology, electrode thickness and Cu content contained in the Cu2O/C electrode. The Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) method shows the Electrochemical Surface Area (ECSA) value and the Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) method shows the electrical conductivity value. The conversion of carbon dioxide into methanol was carried out using varying electrical voltages and varying reaction times. The SEM-EDX method show that the thickness of the Cu2O/C electrode is 277.14 μm with a Cu content of 6,118 Wt% for heavy concentration. The CV method shows the ECSA value for the Cu2O/C electrode is 5.493 m 2 /g and the Cu2O-ZnO/C electrode is 0.334 m2 /g. The EIS method shows the electrical conductivity value for the Cu2O/C electrode is 0.055 S/cm and the Cu2O-ZnO/C electrode is 0.024 S/cm. The conversion of carbon dioxide produces a percentage of methanol at each different electrical voltage and reaction time. The optimum electrical voltage and optimum reaction time were obtained at an electrical voltage of 1.8 volts and a reaction time of 4 hours with a methanol percentage of 24% b/v.
