ANALISIS HUBUNGAN TINGKAT KEPATUHAN MINUM OBAT ANTITUBERKULOSIS TERHADAP KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS PARU DI RSI SITI KHADIJAH PALEMBANG
Pulmonary tuberculosis treatment for a long time at least 6 months with side effects making it a challenge for patients to complete treatment. Cases of low adherence to taking medication are still found in pulmonary TB patients. This study aim to analyze the relationship between medication adherence and the quality of life of pulmonary TB patients. Analytical observational research design with a cross-sectional approach. Respondents consisted of 30 patients based on the inclusion criteria for pulmonary TB who were treated at RSI Siti Khadijah Palembang. The level of compliance of pulmonary TB patients in taking OAT in this study was mostly 16 people (53.3%). The quality of life of pulmonary TB patients in this study had a moderate quality of life as many as 22 people (73.3%) with the lowest average domain score in domain 1 related to the patient's physical health. The research result show a sufficient relationship between the level of adherence to taking OAT and the quality of life of pulmonary TB patients at RSI Siti Khadijah Palembang with a correlation coefficient 0,42. It means that the relationship is positive and in the same direction. Based on the output of Kendall's Tau-B correlation test, the significance value is 0.016, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between medication adherence with quality of life.
