ABSTRACT Introduction: Breast cancer is a condition when cells in the breast grow uncontrollably. The stage classification of most breast cancer patients is stage IIIB. Stage IIIB breast cancer can be treated with radiation, preoperative chemotherapy, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and chemoradiation. It is known that myelosuppression is a side effect of chemotherapy in cancer patients. Laboratory examination is one of the preparations made before chemotherapy. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there were differences in laboratory results of stage IIIB breast cancer patients before and after chemotherapy at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang. Method: This study is an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional study design. Samples were taken using secondary data, namely from patient medical records and taken with total sampling techniques , where all samples obtained and meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria were included in the study until the number of samples was met. Results: Breast Cancer patients stage IIIB at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital were most commonly found in the age range of 48-57 years (45.8%), all experienced by women (100%).
