APLIKASI METODE ATRIBUT SEISMIK UNTUK KARAKTERISASI RESERVOIR DI LAPANGAN “X”, FORMASI TALANG AKAR, CEKUNGAN SUMATERA SELATAN
Oil and gas exploration is carried out by characterizing reservoir distribution based on seismic attributes in the “X” field of the Talang Akar Formation, South Sumatra Basin. This research aims to obtain reservoir distribution based on seismic attribute values and determine the potential for new wells. The research method used in this research is the seismic attribute method (RMS Aplitude, Maximum Amplitude, and Minimum Amlitude) using seismic data, well data, marker data, regional geology, and checkshot data. The results obtained from this research are that on the RMS amplitude map you can see a different color contrast to the surrounding area. In areas that have high amplitude values, they are orange and yellow which are rich in layers of sand with the possibility of hydrocarbon content in them and can be seen in the areas around the X-32 and X- 40 wells. For the development of new wells, it can be seen from the high amplitude values in the eastern area right at the X-94 well and can be developedfor new prospects in the X-32 well area.
