The increasing population has resulted in a significant increase in the amount of waste. An efforts that can be made to solve the problem of waste is to facilitate temporary waste disposal sites (TWDS). This research aims to optimize the location of TWDS in Bukit Kecil Sub-district, Palembang City with the Covering Based Problem (CBP) models formulation, namely Set Covering Location Problem (SCLP), Maximal Covering Location Problem (MCLP), and p-Center Location Problem, as well as Robust Set Covering Problem (Robust SCP) models with LINGO 13.0 software. The analysis used is sensitivity analysis. Bukit Kecil Sub-district is the sub-with the most TWDS in Palembang City. The results of the CBP model obtained that each sub-district has at least 1 optimal TWDS, but there are TWDS locations that do not match the demand point. While the Robust SCP model obtained 10 optimal TWDS. Therefore, this study recommends the Robust SCP model as the optimal solution for TWDS in Bukit Kecil Sub-district, namely TWDS Kartini Street, TWDS in front of Starbucks KI, TWDS Merdeka Street, TWDS 26 Ilir Market, TWDS Flat Block 35, TWDS Flat Block 49, TWDS Independent Women’s Prison, TWDS Musi Riverbank, TWDS Monpera, and TWDS Cinde Market, with the addition of TWDS The Mayor’s Office in Sub-district 22 Ilir and TWDS Flat Block 01 in Sub-district 23 Ilir. The results of sensitivity analysis in this study show that if the coefficient change value is within the coefficient interval, the solution will remains optimal.
