KEMAMPUAN LITERASI MATEMATIS PADA POKOK BAHASAN SPLTV DALAM PROBLEM BASED LEARNING
This research is motivated by the low mathematical literacy abilities of Indonesian students. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the aim of describing students' mathematical literacy abilities after studying three-variable linear equation systems using the problem-based learning model (PBL). What is new in this research is the use of the PBL model in studying three-variable linear equation systems to describe mathematical literacy abilities in each category. This research was carried out in class X.8 of SMAN 1 Indralaya for the 2023/2024 academic year. Students in the high category simply do not meet the formulated indicators in terms of doing examples. Students in the moderate category make mistakes in the example process, are quite capable of determining mathematical solutions, but are not yet able to understand them to solve problems. Students in the low category are only able to rewrite what they know and ask about the questions. PBL has a positive impact in familiarizing students with using mathematical literacy skills through a discussion process in answering student worksheets whose importance refers to indicators of mathematical literacy abilities.
