KORELASI ANTARA PENAMBAHAN BERAT BADAN INTERDIALISIS DENGAN HIPERTENSI INTRADIALISIS PADA PASIEN HEMODIALISIS KRONIK DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG
Hemodialysis is an effective therapy for chronic kidney disease that removes fluids, electrolytes, and metabolic waste, relieving symptoms and improving the quality of life of end-stage patients. However, various complications can occur during hemodialysis procedures such as intradialysis hypertension. One of the risk factors for intradialysis hypertension is weight gain. This study aims to determine the correlation between interdialysis weight gain and the incidence of intradialysis hypertension at RSUP. Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Method: This study is an analytic observational study with a cohort study design that aims to see the correlation between the variables studied. Data was obtained based on primary data, which was obtained directly from chronic hemodialysis patients at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang. The number of respondents in this study was 50 respondents. Results: In this study, Pearson correlation between interdialysis weight gain week 1 and intradialysis hypertension was obtained, the value (p) was 0.115 with the significance value data obtained at 0.425, it can be concluded that it has a statistically insignificant relationship. Spearmen rank correlation between interdialysis weight gain week 2 with intradialysis hypertension obtained (r) of -0.212 with data obtained significance value (p) 0.139, it can be concluded that there is no significant correlation. Conclusion: There is an insignificant relationship between interdialysis weight gain and intradialysis hypertension in patients who routinely undergo hemodialysis at the RSUP. Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang.
