PENGEMBANGAN PROTOTIPE TRANSCEIVER SISTEM KOMUNIKASI CAHAYA TAMPAK MENGGUNAKAN LASER DALAM MEDIUM UDARA DAN AIR
Visible Light Communication (VLC) is visible light communication using LEDs and lasers as carrier waves to transmit data. This research aims to design a VLC system transceiver prototype that is capable of sending and receiving text data bidirectionally using a laser as well as evaluating the application of photodiode detectors and Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) VLC systems in air and water. Two Transceiver prototypes were tested using a 5 Volt red laser at varying distances of 40 cm, 60 cm, 80 cm, 120 cm, 160 cm and 200 cm in air and water. The results show good performance when using a photodiode detector compared to using an LDR detector. The maximum distance in the air for sending text data is 5 meters and the maximum distance in water is 2 meters.
