UJI IN VITRO ANTIOKSIDAN DAN UJI IN VIVO ANTIINFLAMASI FRAKSI DAUN NANGKA (Artocarpus heterophyllus) PADA TIKUS WISTAR JANTAN
Jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus) is a medicinal plant that is rich in phenolic and flavonoid compounds. Phenolic compounds are known to have high potential as antioxidants. Compounds that act as antioxidants generally also have the potential to act as anti-inflammatory. This study aims to determine the in vitro antioxidant activity and in vivo anti-inflammatory activity of A. heterophyllus leaf fractions. The research began with extraction using the maceration method using solvents with varying polarities (n-hexane, ethyl acetate and methanol). Each fraction was tested for flavonoid and total phenolic content using the colorometric method and antioxidant activity using the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method. The fraction that showed the highest antioxidant activity was then tested for anti-inflammatory activity in vivo by measuring the volume of edema formed from carrageenan induction. Testing was carried out with 3 dose variations of 200, 400, and 800 mg/KgBW. The research results showed that the methanol fraction had the highest total phenolic content and antioxidant activity compared to other fractions with a total phenolic value of 50.31 mgGAE/g and antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of
