This research aims to describe the numeracy abilities of class VII students in learning linear equations using the PMRI Approach in the context of the Sriwijaya Royal Archaeological Park. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method. The research subjects were 33 students from class VII.2 of SMP Negeri 27 Palembang for the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection techniques in this research will involve observation, written tests, and interviews. The written test presents two essay questions in the context of the Sriwijaya Royal Archaeological Park and students work on them individually. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion carried out, students already understand the test questions asked, although there are still some who are only able to do questions at the Low Order Thinking level, such as Question 1. The highest percentage is found in the first indicator, which students are able to use. various kinds of numbers and symbols related to mathematics in various contexts in everyday life. The second indicator has a fairly good percentage, which allows students to be able to analyze information presented in various other forms (graphs, tables, charts). Meanwhile, the third indicator has the lowest percentage, some students are able to interpret the results of the analysis to predict and make decisions. However, some students are still less careful in making decisions and drawing conclusions. Overall, students in class VII.2 of SMP Negeri 27 Palembang were classified as quite good for their numeracy skills for solving test questions using the PMRI approach in the context of the Sriwijaya Royal Archaeological Park on linear equations.
