This research was conducted using data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. Based on the research data, it shows that the level of civic engagement lies at the level of tokenism and citizen power, but citizen power is more dominant as evidenced by the presence of people who submit reports on the impact of environmental pollution that occurs; participate in meetings; demand assistance from the company; negotiations between the community and the company; and community participation in river water inspection. At the tokenism level, community involvement is evidenced by village leaders providing information to the community and the community responding to information conveyed by village leaders.
