This research discusses "Development of Blacksmith Craftsmen in Limbang Jaya Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency, 2010-2021". The aim of this research is to determine the development of blacksmith craftsmen and their impact on the social and economic life of blacksmith craftsmen in Limbang Jaya village. The method used in writing this research is the historical method or historical method using literature studies and interviews as research techniques. The use of this historical method is a way to answer problems regarding the development of blacksmith craftsmen in Limbang Jaya village, Tanjung Batu sub-district, Ogan Ilir Regency in 2010-2021. The research results reveal the initial entry and supporting factors of blacksmiths in Limbang Jaya Village, the development of the socio-economic life of blacksmith craftsmen, the Blacksmith Craft Production System, the results of blacksmith products and the blacksmith marketing system of Limbang Jaya Village. Based on the results of this research, the existence of blacksmith craftsmen in Limbang Jaya village has had a positive impact such as increasing the standard of living of the people of Limbang Jaya village, such as reducing unemployment, increasing the level of education, fulfilling living needs.
