Indonesia is a country rich in natural resources, almost every region in Indonesia certainly has abundant natural resources, especially in the field of oil and gas. South Sumatera province, particularly Palembang is one of the provinces that have the natural resources in the field of oil and gas are abundant. The wealth of natural resources should be exploited by the government to help the economy of the region, especially Indonesia could rise, because oil and gas field is one of the selling poinls is very high price. College of Oil and Gas is expected to be a way to produce quality human resources. College of Oil and Natural Gas in its function as a center for education and research on oil and gas, and can act as a platform for the implementation of activities related to the oil and gas community. Thus the abundant natural resources in Indonesia, particularly in the field of oil and natural gas can be utilized as much as possible to the needs and welfare of the community.
