Nowadays, aviation transportation has begun to grow rapidly. In Indonesia there are 20 International airports and 195 domestic airports. In South Sumatra, SMB II airport has 8 scheduled commercial airlines, one of it is Lion Air airline. Comfort and safety factors are very needed by people who use the Services of flight, which is influenced by two aspects, namely the aspect of equipment and human resources. It is can be realized by establishing a flight academy. PT Lion Air took the initiative to cooperated with local govemment of Musi Banyuasin in establishing aviation high schools at Sekayu airfield which will be expected to meet the needs of local qualified human resources and can become experts in their own country, such as pilots, technicians and expert staff, both for PT Lion Air airline, or the other airlines in Indonesia and the manager of the airport.
