HUBUNGAN SUBTIPE CLASSICAL HODGKIN LYMPHOMA DENGAN ANEMIA DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG TAHUN 2018-2023
Background: Classical Hodgkin lymphoma (CHL) is a monoclonal lymphoid neoplasm derived from B cells, composed of mononuclear Hodgkin cells and multinucleated Reed-Sternberg cells. CHL is classified into nodular sclerosis classic Hodgkin lymphoma (NSCHL), lymphocyte-rich classic Hodgkin lymphoma (LRCHL), mixed-cellularity classic Hodgkin lymphoma (MCCHL), and lymphocyte-depleted classic Hodgkin lymphoma (LDCHL). Anemia is one of clinical conditions that found in lymphoma patients. This research is conducted to identify correlation between CHL subtypes and anemia. Methods: This research is observational analytic with cross-sectional design. The research samples are patients diagnosed with CHL at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang in 2018-2023 according to inclusion and exclusion criterias. Results: Of the 37 samples, the most of CHL cases are in 20-29 years old (32,4%), male (54,1%), nodal location (86,5%), MCCHL subtype (56,8%). Anemia occurred in 67,6% of cases with moderate degree (56%) being the most common. There was not significant correlation between CHL subtypes and anemia (p = 0,606) Conclusion: Based on the results of this research, there is not significant correlation between CHL subtypes and anemia.
