Islamic Boarding School Rubath Al-Muhibbien is salctfiyah (traditional) boarding school in Palembang city whose existence is currently being ruled out and decreased amid the pace of modern boarding school and mu'adalah (equalization). This decrease can be seen from the occupancy function that is less than the infrastructure, and the building of the building is not organized. From some existing problems, it is necessary a means of education boarding mu'adalah (equalization) that can balance the National Education Standards (NES), accommodate all forms of education and support the processing of design and governance of the building mass is better. Therefore it is necessary to redesign The Islamic Boarding School Rubath Al-Muhibbien in accordance with the NES and the Standard of Islamic boarding school mu'adalah, as well as with design considerations in accordance with the principles and characteristics of Islamic Architecture, so that with the Redesign of Islamic Boarding School Rubath Al-Muhibbien is expected to be useful for users especially santri in improving the comfort and quality of education in the cottage environment.
