Estimating an individual age can be assessed from tooth growth and development period which can make it easier to identify individuals. One of the new methods for estimated age that was made specifically for the Indonesian population using panoramic radiographs is the method of The Atlas of Dental Development in the Indonesian Population. The purpose of this study was to assess the accuracy of estimating the age of 6-12 years using The Atlas of Dental Development in the Indonesian Population method with panoramic radiographs in Dental Hospital (RSKGM) of South Sumatra Province. This study was an observational analytical method with a cross-sectional design with 360 panoramic radiographs of patients aged 6-12 years from January 2020 to June 2023 at RSKGM of South Sumatra Province. Dental age estimation was assessed from panoramic radiographs by observing the development of teeth on one side using The Atlas of Dental Development in the Indonesian Population. The estimated dental age was compared with chronological age. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The Wilcoxon test showed that there were no significant difference between dental age and chronological age in the age groups 9-12 years (p value>0.05), but there were significant in the age groups 6-8 years (p value
