Library is a means of formal and informal education facility, it’s means tha the library is a place to ieam outside of school as well as a place to leam in the educational environtment. Regional Iibraiy in Lahat that serves students and public does not have adequate facilities, meanwhile the number of students and residents in Lahat is increasing. In line with the plan, Lahat Regional Library is a center of student activities in Lahat, as well as its location in the tourist area can help achieve one of the govemment programs to develop its tourism potential, thus needed a new building for the Iibraiy. Library planning through educational and recreational is expected solve the problems and support various govemment programs and besides it reinforces the view of the surrounding environment through the harmonious and synergy with the architecture of the surrounding area.
