PENGARUH KEGIATAN EKSTRAKURIKULER PRAMUKA TERHADAP SIKAP KEDISIPLINAN SISWA DI SMP PGRI 1 PALEMBANG
Education is an effort to create a learning environment that helps students actively develop the potential that exists in themselves through the learning process. Broadly speaking, learning in schools is divided into three activities, namely intracurricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular. One of the extracurricular activities that we often encounter in the scope of education ranging from elementary, junior high to high school is scouting. This study aims to determine how the influence of extracurricular scout activities on the discipline of PGRI 1 Palembang Junior High School students. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between scout extracurricular activities and student discipline. Scout extracurricular activities with student discipline have a significance value of 0.222, as shown by the results of statistical analysis using the Linear Regression Test. The alpha value is smaller than the table value, so sig..022 < α =.05. Therefore, the research hypothesis which states that "there is a significant influence between scout extracurricular activities on student discipline at SMP PGRI 1 Palembang" can be validated. In other words, the Ha hypothesis can be accepted and Ho can be rejected. This shows that the impact of extracurricular scout activities on student discipline is positive. This means that the impact of extracurricular scouting activities on student discipline was unknown before this study was conducted. This research shows that extracurricular scouting activities can improve student discipline.
