This study aims to describe the role of foster parents in fostering children's moral development at Cahaya Ridho Bunda Orphanage Palembang. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods referring to Miles and Huberman, namely reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were three mothers. The results of this study indicate that, of the 3 respondents, foster parents apply 4 classifications of the role of foster parents, namely (1) Exemplary, such as inviting children to worship, pray, say thank you, and share with one another. (2) Habituation, accustoming children to say thank you, apologize, worship God, and say good things. (3) Guidance, providing guidance for children to have good morals by guiding children to say good words, say greetings when leaving and entering the house. (4) Advisor, foster parents give advice to always worship Allah, be polite, salim to parents and people around. It can be concluded that foster parents in orphanages are able to educate children's morals in various ways based on their respective roles. Keywords: Morals, Foster Parents, Children
