This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counseling using e-booklets to increase students' understanding in efforts to prevent drug abuse in Indralaya 1 Public High School. This study used an experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design model. With the subject studied, namely students of class XI. IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya totaling 10 students who got the lowest score from the pretest results based on purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this study was a test to measure students' understanding of drugs given before and after treatment. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Wilcoxon Test. The results of the research data obtained an average pretest score of 35.2 while a posttest average score of 79.1. From the results of the data obtained, the Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value is 0.005 which indicates the probability is smaller or below 0.05 so that group guidance services using e-booklets are effective in increasing student understanding in efforts to prevent drug abuse.
