This study aims to describe the problem solving ability of junior high school students on relation and function material and liveworksheets-assisted in independent curriculum learning. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were 33 students of grade VIII.5 SMP Negeri 53 Palembang. Data was collected from written tests and interviews. Based on the results of written tests and interviews show that the use of liveworksheets can help students understand learning mathematics material relation and function. The problem solving ability of grade VIII.5 students is included in the medium category with an average test result score of 60.04.
