KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR MATEMATIS SISWA DENGAN GAYA BELAJAR AUDIO VISUAL MELALUI CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING BERBANTUAN ICT
This research aims to determine students' mathematical thinking abilities with an audio-visual learning style through ICT-assisted Creative Problem Solving. The research subjects consisted of 6 students with an audio-visual learning style from 20 students in class VIII.A of SMP Srijaya Negara Palembang. This research is descriptive research which includes the preparation stage, implementation stage, and data analysis stage. Data collection techniques were carried out through learning style questionnaires, tests and interviews. Where the data obtained is analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of data analysis concluded that the average mathematical thinking ability of students with an audio-visual learning style through ICT-assisted Creative Problem Solving learning was categorized as enough. The results show that students' abilities in the specializing indicator are categorized as excellent, as seen from students who are able to identify problems through the information obtained. Then in the generalizing indicator, students' abilities are categorized as good because students are able to find patterns and relationships in each arrangement of patterns. Meanwhile, students' abilities in conjecturing indicators are categorized as poor because only a few students are able to conjecture formulations as problem solving strategies.
