INVENTARISASI TUMBUHAN DI LINGKUNGAN KAMPUS UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA DAN SUMBANGANNYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SMA
This study aims to collect data and inform about the species of plants in Sriwijaya University area, Indralaya. The research was conducted in May-Desember 2023. The method used was a qualitative method with descriptive techniques. Data collection using the exploration technique. The samples that have been obtained are identified and described based on morphological characters. The results of the study found as many as 284 species of Spermatophyta which are classified to 41 orders and 80 families. There are 2 divisions of plants, which are Gymnospermae (Pinophyta) and Angiospermae (Magnoliophyta). In Gymnospermae (Pinophyta) there are 7 species of plants that are classified to 3 orders and 5 families, while in Angiospermae (Magnoliophyta) there are 277 species of plants that are classified to 38 orders and 75 families. Based on the research, it can be concluded that plants in the Sriwijaya University area are very diverse, ranging from ornamental, fruits, protective, and native plants. The existence of various plant species is an effort of Sriwijaya University’s in organizing the campus area towards Green Agro Eco Edu Tourism Campus. The research results are used as a learning resource for high school biology in the form of a website that contains information on plant species that can be accessed using a QR-Code.
